Essener Rostocker Hut 2,208m

For the Essen-Rostocker-Hütte of the DAV Essen section near the famous Großvenediger we are looking for committed service staff (m / f) for gastronomy and accommodation for our hut team at 2208m above sea level (Venediger Group, Virgental, Matrei in Osttirol, Austria) ,

The period is from February 15, 2021 to mid-May 2021. A shorter period is also possible, but at least 6 weeks.

The Essener-Rostocker-Hütte is located in the high alpine mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, with around one hundred overnight accommodations, surrounded by numerous peaks over 3,000 meters. We can be reached by a company cable car, which you can use as an employee to get down to the valley. In winter the region is known for fantastic ski tours and in summer for wonderful hiking and climbing routes.

We look forward to committed, motivated but also resilient staff, who ideally already have experience in the catering trade and have an affinity for the mountains.

We offer you fair wages, free food and your own room with WiFi. You are permanently employed, have social security and at the end of the season you will receive a decent certificate for your further endeavors.

You should bring this with you:

• Language skills in German and / or English

• A little work experience in the catering or hotel industry

• well-groomed and friendly demeanor

• Passion for hosting at 2,208 m in a fabulous mountain setting
